Geographic diversity is what Locations – CA is all about. Provided with a wide assortment of microclimates and soil profiles to exploit, it can be a winemaker’s dream. With a goal in mind to create a blend that showcases the best of the Golden State, they navigated the famed appellations of Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, and the Sierra Foothills for prized fruit. Once secured, some creativity was applied to the blending components to ultimately settle on a wine worthy of Locations.
A deep purple in the glass, the wine opens with a vibrant perfume of ripe black fruits. Dense and rich upon the first pass, this wine is reminiscent of a decadent chocolate mousse pie served in a gram cracker crust, and dolloped with blackberry compote. e finish is substantial with tangy acidity, offering a generous palate with soft, succulent tannins.
